PATENTED PROCESS. Developed by Dr. John McLean. The Chem-Free Iron Removal System has surpassed all other filters in its ability to remove iron. There is little, if any cost of operation.   NO CHEMICAL REGENERANT. No salt, potassium permanganate, chlorine or any other chemicals are used. The system oxidizes iron and it collects in the filter media. Periodically, the iron is flushed from the filter tank using water only.   INCREASES pH. The system increases pH to aid iron reduction.   REMOVES SULFUR ODOR. Rotten egg smell and corrosion resulting from hydrogen sulfide is eliminated *. *(removes up to 2-3 ppm of sulfur.
